Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother perform. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode and broke the news to the fans during a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013.
