Humans are adults, or animals is a creature that has developed in all its potential. The term adult is used in the context of human beings to refer to the legal and social aspects. As opposed to a "non-adult" or "minor", a legal adult is a person who has attained the age of majority and is therefore considered an independent, self-sufficient person and dependable. The term "major" is a term used to describe the person. The age of 18 is the legal adult age, however, this definition may differ according to the nation, lawful rights or psychological development.

The lifespan of human beings adulthood is the point when a person attains full mental and physical maturity. It usually starts at 21, which is the average age for adults. The age of old is 60 years later than middle age. Young adulthood starts between years of between 18 to 30. The middle age stage begins from between the mid-30s and 60s. Late adulthood starts at the mid-60s. At the point we are in the age of early adulthood (20 to early 40s), our physical maturation is completed, though the size and weight of our bodies may increase slightly. As we enter our early twenties, the physical capabilities of our bodies reach their maximum. This includes muscle strength as well as reaction speed.
